Seen from high above the valley floor on Glacier Point, these are the two major waterfalls scaled on the way to Half Dome. The climb to the top of the first falls, Vernal Falls, is nearly 1000 ft. above the valley floor. The actual drop of the falls is 317 ft. The climb to the top of the next falls, Nevada Falls, is almost another 1000 ft climb. The drop of Nevada falls is 594 ft. Just above and to the left of Nevada Falls is the Little Yosemite Valley backpackers camp. Follow one of the links at the bottom to get started!
